The longest-running and most traditional event at the Mathildedal Ironworks, “Jouluun hiljentyminen,” is held on Christmas Eve in the atmospheric Rolling shop, “Valimo”. During “Jouluun hiljentyminen” attendees find peace and quiet to prepare for Christmas in a serene atmosphere.
The event lasts about half an hour, and the program includes a few words about Christmas from a representative of the Salo parish, as well as beautiful musical performances and community singing.
