The Rooftop sauna at Hotel Mathildedal offers an idyllic and memorable setting for hotel guests.

Boutiques
The boutiques at Mathildedal Ironworks offer Finnish products in a unique setting. In the six boutiques, you’ll find Finnish clothing, handmade brushes, alpaca knitwear, and locally sourced food. Come shop and experience the charming ironworks village all year round.

Summer Theater
The Mathildedal Summer Theater is run by Teatteri ProVinssi from Salo. The summer theater season runs from late June to early August.
This year’s program features the play Pirturanta. Showtimes and tickets are available on the ProVinssi website.

Activities
Mathildedal offers a wide variety of activities, even for the most active visitors.
The extensive range of activities includes water sports, more traditional options such as golf and tennis, as well as downhill biking and down hill driving for the more adventurous.

Teijo National Park
Teijo National Park is located right next to the village of Mathildedal. The trails in Teijo National Park are also suitable for less experienced hikers.
At Lake Matildanjärvi in the national park, you can also rent SUP boards, kayaks, and rowboats from Natura Viva.

Wild water swimming
In Mathildedal, there are wild water swimming spots both on the lake and on the coast.
There are several swimming spots on Lake Mathilda:
A small natural beach next to Mathildedal Central Park.
A swimming beach in Teijo National Park, on Matildanjärventie.
The beach by the sea is located near Mathilda Marina, at the end of Matildan puistotie.

The History Exhibition
You can learn about Mathildedal’s industrial history at the History Exhibition. The Mathildedal Cultural Association has gathered objects and machinery for the exhibition that were manufactured over the years in both Mathildedal and Teijo.
The History Exhibition is located in the historic sawmill and is open every day during the summer and by appointment. Admission to the exhibition is free.
