The Mathildedal Children’s Ghost Museum invites little ghosts, witches, monsters, and other Halloween adventurers to explore the world of ghosts in a safe and playful environment.
The Children’s Ghost Museum is located in Mathildedal’s old coal warehouse, which transforms into a unique Halloween world each fall.
Here, there’s no need to be afraid of the dark, strange noises, or sudden scares. The Children’s Ghost Museum has no sound effects, making it well-suited for children who are sensitive to loud noises.
Expect pumpkins, ghosts, funny monsters, and just the right amount of spooky atmosphere.
For Little Ghosts
The Children’s Ghost Museum is designed especially for younger visitors who want to peek into the world of ghosts, but for whom the actual Ghost Museum might be too scary.
Here, you can marvel, laugh, and even get a little startled—just as much as you dare.
And best of all: adults are welcome to join in on the Halloween adventure.

Two Ghost Museums—Two Different Experiences

The Ghost Museum is geared toward older visitors and offers a truly thrilling and scary experience. The theme for 2026 is the forest and its creatures.
The Children’s Ghost Museum, on the other hand, offers younger visitors a more playful Halloween atmosphere in an old coal shed—without any sound effects.
Both are part of Mathildedal’s fall season and Salo’s Pumpkin Weeks.
