Delicacy
In our Lovely Café you can sit with no rush and enjoy a cup of old time pan coffee (pannukahvi) as well as delicious sweet and savoury pastries. We make all products by ourselves from local grown ingrediences. Nobody can resist our oven fresh cinnamon bun – korvapuusti – or our secret recipe carrot cake. According to season we make also delicious berry-meringue cakes.
Café Mathildedal has a re-use library, from where you can borrow a book for your stay or take with you home. Café's shop sells sweets and other products, which are perfect as souvenirs or gifts.
Café Food
Handmade pasta with a topping of your choice, browned butter sauce and some parmesan, how does that sound?
Our food service consists of handmade pasta, fresh salads and roasted levain-bread, all from local grown ingredients, of course! Our Food-filosophy is ” simple and good, from real ingredients”!
In summertime we serve Café breakfast alongside Hotel breakfast. Café breakfast is served from opening 'til lunch time. You don't need to book breakfast in the Café in advance.
Hotel breakfast
You can come to enjoy Café atmosphere with Hotel breakfast, which is served to the tables. Breakfast plate full of local grown ingredients and products is a perfect start to the day on a perfect vacation. We have handpicked amazing flavours just for you! Open fire dining & picnic lunches
Nature and open fire dining in Teijo National Park are available to order for different sized groups all year long. Treat yourself with open fire coffee and large griddle pancake or enjoy delicious and creamy salmon soup for lunch. For dinner we serve three course menú made on fire composed from local ingredients, of course. We organize also themed nature guide walks, sense walks and other nature themed programs.
Picnic lunches can be ordered or picked up from our Café. We help all nature enthusiasts with planning and program building.
